Face it, both stations sound awful. I gave up on them 2 years ago and have been tuned in to 99.9 since. Talk about variety and on air talent that actually sound like they like their jobs. That's what's missing in Madison.

If The Big Y was to come back on the 94.9 signal Entercom would easily be able to captivate the Madison country audience, would have a poweful signal, and would still leave Q and Star trying to figure out what to do.
: I disagree; Star has sounded great, promotionally and on the air, for quite a while now. It could be because Q sounds so bad, who knows. This couldn't have happened at a better time for Star, since Q is now without a leader (not that I would call him a "leader" to begin with). While Walker scrambles to get a PD and clean up Sebastian's mess, Star just needs to sustain and hire an AM show quickly.
