That's just it. They weren't given the "pink slip" The story goes they (maybe just one of them) thought they were too big for just Madison, so when it came to agree to a contract that included Madison only (not Milwaukee), they (or maybe just one) decide not to sign, effectively ending the show. Rumors are Clear Channel were going to let them continue doing the show from a production studio in Milwaukee. A business decision by all involved. So, you could say they were fired from Milwaukee. Sounds like they were underperforming the rest of the station.
