Actually fb is very different than defacing a billboard and I'm surprised to read such a clueless comparison. The businesses that understand how to use fb effectively allow civil discourse. Sure remove or ban the profane but allow open airing. Allow people to connect with you and your other followers. That gives u the opportunity to try and sway them back to your side. If you just shut it all down that listener or group of listeners is likely gone to some other place that GETS social media and gets the value of negative feedback. I normally charge $100/hr for that, Hunter. :)
