Unfortunately for us who enjoy personality based radio the $$$$ is in sports because the average Joe cares a hell of a lot more about the Brewers, Packers, and Vikings (did you catch that?) than what's happening for real in their world. They're all former h.s. jocks that didn't make it so they want to live vicariously hence the obsession with those who did. More former jocks listening means more opportunities for generating revenue.
