What is the point of The Big 920 WOKY?

They have Madison-based coverage airing in Milwaukee (?) along with NBC and Fox national shows, and NBC News updates with no local sports news update of their own (at least WSSP and WAUK have that).

Oh, and they have play-by-play for Nascar racing and NFL teams that the market doesn't give a damn about. Whoopie!

In other words; it's a "local" sports radio station with absolutely NO local sports coverage (Bucks, Brewers, Packers). Zip. Zero. Nada. In fact they seem to cover everything but that.

Way to go, Clear Channel. I'm sure local advertisers will just flock to this abomination instead of going where they actually talk about local professional football, baseball, and basketball.

I give it a year before it flips to something else because advertisers are already tied to WSSP and WAUK and listeners are already listening to those stations instead.

It might cost them nothing to run, but it's also not going to get them anything.

This station makes WSSP seem like it serves a purpose by comparison.
