There are plenty of progressive voices in Milwaukee who could be pressed into action. Earl Ingram would probably be receptive if the pay were at or near the level of his current WMCS salary. James Causey, Eugene Kane, Joel McNally, Lena Taylor, Pat Small (who used to call in to Sykes' show all the time, 'Pat from the East Side,' he had a good radio voice) all come to mind. And that's just a few minutes of brainstorming. Mike McGee Jr. just wrapped up his stint in federal prison in late January, and is eligible for work release as he serves a year in state prison. He was always entertaining when he had his program on WNOV, although without Brother Clean's sponsorship money, he may not be as committed to the gig as he was back then. Sly Sylvester, whom I believe to be a deplorable human being, is actually a fairly talented radio talker, and may be feeling stifled by his gig out there in the dairy belt. I think you could put a decent lineup together in short order. How one could make this a profitable venture is a topic for brighter minds than mine, however...
