I saw.

There is no way in sam hill that Big Eddie resigned himself to doing two weekend shows just because he wanted to do longer feature stories. That's bullshit. Anyone who has listened to Ed on the radio show or watched more than one episode of The Ed Show knows his ego and his drive would not allow him to make that proposition. This was a move by MSNBC management and I have my guess of who will replace him but I'll save that until it's announced.

Also, the fact that he isn't starting the new weekend shows until april further proves the move wasn't his. He is starting a new show at the beginning of a new month, a month before May sweeps so people can forget about him over the 2 weeks he's gone and the new show can build momentum without his interference. I've been in both Ed's position and the new person's position.
