I'm not saying Elvis Duran is a bad show. I don't like it personally. That's my personal opinion on the show.

On a more non personal taste note, I think the show caters more to New York, and the eastern half of the country. It doesn't seem to identify with Milwaukee and Madison very well, although it's very popular in Des Moines.

The Pop stations in Milwaukee are all different. For a long time, 103.7 had no competition at all. I think having some healthy competition is what keeps them strong. They know they have some other stations to compete with so they work together to fight them off.

WRNW is actually very decent considering most of the Clear Channel CHR stations run a generic Premium Choice log during some hours of the day. WRNW has 0 hours of generic Premium Choice feed. If it's voice tracked from out of town, it's done specifically for the station, minus Elvis Duran which is syndicated on a network and is not limited to CC stations.

Energy 106.9 is the rhythmic CHR station. The station has the "shut up and play the hits" approach. The station has a small signal, and it doesn't have a very large staff (as with the previous formats on the station) They are taking the music intensive format and making it sound very solid. The "flow" on this station is really good.
