I actually live in the Madison radio market and (surprisingly) often find myself listening to country music at the office in the afternoon.
I don't have any hard evidence to back this up, but it seems like 96.3 repeats their playlist more often than the Billy station further up the dial. Also, it seems like 106 tries to work in a classic every now and then. 96.3 doesn't often deviate from a rotation of the latest single from the current Nashville Skoal Circuit. (Lady A, Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Paisley/Urban, etc.)
Lastly, I am totally sick and put off by 96.3's incessant plugging of their out-of-market morning show. I don't listen to FM in the morning, but would go out of my way NOT to listen to 96.3 during morning drive simply by virtue of their shamelessly stuffing "The Bobby Bones Show" promos down the listener's throat after literally EVERY SONG THEY PLAY. Just stop it, already.
