I think this one is pretty easy to figure out with this new information:

Option #1
Kramp over played his hand and demanded more money (and they told him to take a hike)

Option #2
Kramp got fired for something he did on or off the air and they clearly can't talk about it since it's a personnel issue.


You don't keep one person and nuke the other unless they screw up.
