How has billing been for WGN radio over the last 5 years or so? Are they holding steady, trending up? I would be surprised if WGN AM was sold off. It's so heritage. Altho the line-up doesn't stay the same for more than 1-2 years lately and that's got to be aggravating for the audience.
All this Tribune stuff is funny because at least in Chicago there has been such an increase in synergy between Tribune's print, radio and TV properties.
Fox 6 announced it will be carrying the Arsenio Hall Show this fall. A promo has been running for awhile. It seems to run in tangent (the promo) with a promo for a new aggressive-themed male-targeting animation block which says it will air after Family Guy on Sundays this fall. I don't know how that works without disrupting Fox stations' 9pm newscast.
